Slater Run Vineyards, founded in 2010 by Chris and Kiernan (Slater) Patusky, is located in Upperville, Virginia. The winery features premium French-style wines made from Virginia-grown grapes, the majority of which come from the thirteen acres of vineyards on site.
Slater Run Vineyards' winemaker, Katell Griaud, was raised at her family’s winery in Monbazillac, France, and she received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in winemaking from Bordeaux University. Sustainability and stewardship of the land are a part of the everyday practices that includes hand-harvesting in the vineyard and solar-powered operations in the winery.
Nomad Provisions is a husband & wife team specializing in custom catering menus, including wineries and private parties. Having owned and operated a bakery cafe and upscale restaurant Nomad Provisions uses their background to craft unique menus for our clients, whether it is a buffet, multi-course meal, or paired tastings, and they also participate in local farmers markets, featuring fresh-baked European pastries and tarts.
